Frenchies on film - Modern Family

This new feature will feature French Bulldogs that have been featured in films and TV.

We will begin with ABC's Modern Family.
Watch the episode
From the IMDB page for this episode:
Jay (Ed O’Neill) meets someone at the kitchen table, Guillermo. Gloria (SofĂa Vergara) brings people in once a month or so to help them out. (“She has a big heart. I really wish I could change that.”) But Jay figured if she kept it under $100, it wouldn’t ruin his golf game. However, Guillermo was looking for business advice. Actually, it was a sales pitch that wouldn’t even get an informercial. It was for a dog training system, which was a multi-billion dollar industry…according to Guillermo. He might want to use it on his own dog, which was chewing up a pillow. The system had bland treats for when they acted up and good treats when they behaved themselves. Of course, Stella the dog preferred the bad doggie treats. Guillermo wants Jay to get in on the ground floor (“Actually, she’s peeing on the ground floor.”) Jay has to break the bad news to Guillermo. Jay tried to reassure Guillermo all he needed was a better idea, but neither Guillermo nor Gloria was having it. Gloria was ticked at Jay, even though she agreed the system was a bad idea.
……
Meanwhile, Gloria talked to Guillermo, who decided to go back to school and get his business degree. However, he had to get rid of the dog, which meant Gloria just HAD to keep it. Jay refused, but Manny got home and wanted to say goodbye to the dog…whom he just met. Jay takes him to the pound, but the puppy worked its magic on him and Manny has a new pet.

Moving Part 3: Road Life

In part 3 of our moving recap we will show you some of the places we saw, slept, ate and poo'd along our move from Indiana to California... We even made some new friends along the way.
Otis made himself a comfy bed on top of a suitcase. From here he took his co-captain duties pretty lightly.

On the end of day 1 of driving we pulled into our hotel in Tulsa, OK.
Tulsa has to literally be the hottest town we have been in before.
The thermostat was still pegging the 95 degree mark at 10 pm when we took this picture...plus there was a full moon, too!
In the morning we got a chance to meet the dudes from the band
5 Finger Death Punch in the lobby of our hotel.
We racked up some good naps during the trip.
This is Pepe.We met him in Texas He was smaller than the cup.
Otis still gets the ladies from state to state
Olive will find a lap to nap in no matter where we are.
We saw this sign in Arizona and had to warn mommy (she's frightened by snakes!)
 "I ain't no bigger than a tumbleweed!"
We drove through some crazy looking storms in Arizona. The sky was crazy!
We stretched our legs in the desert...still keeping an eye out for them snakes.

Moving Part 2: Hit the road...

Part 2 of our recap of our move from Indianapolis to Los Angeles begins with us saying "see you later" to some friends and family.
Meet Brewski (Brew for short!)
Brew is our cousin and lives down the street from our home in Indianapolis.
Brew is one of our best friends and always excited when we get a chance to play.
Olive made sure that our last stop before we hit the road was a mini morning play session with Brew.
"I know I can always lean on Brew!"
Otis loves Brews deck that overlooks the entire backyard...

This is our aunt Sara.
She comes and visits us when Mommy and Daddy are out of town
(or when she just needs some bulldog kisses!)

Time to hit the road...
